a;dkslfj friends totally bailed on Star Trek today. I'm beginning to think I will never see this movie. And I'm worried that when I do see it, imma want Kirk/Spock but I SERIOUSLY CAN'T HANDLE ANOTHER FANDOM. Arthur/Merlin, Fraser/RayK, and Dean/Cas are killing me. I have so many fics bookmarked (and bookmarked within the longer ones as I get a few thousand words in at a time), it's blowing my mind.

Well, the good kind of blowing. Not the GREAT kind, but the good kind :] DEATH BY SLASH. Worse ways to go.

So far I have not been really, overly caught by any of the pairings, which is probably for the best. I am finding that I am liking the randomness of chekov/sulu a lot, though. WHY?

Oh and btw, I keep forgetting to mention that I'm IN LOVE with "rabblerouser" (fred thomas) and "skeletons" (tiny masters) off your spring mixes, and I hadn't bothered to check out the new YYY album until I heard "heads will roll", which was mind-fuckingly awesome so I got ahold of It's Blitz and am ALL OVER IT LIZ LEMON ON FOOD now. *cough* Sorry, I get excited about good music <3 <3 <3

I think the fred thomas is so so good. He was in saturday looks good to me who had their moments. My bad experience with him went thusly: It was spring 2006 and I was the music director at bu's radio station. We were setting up our end of the year concert. I booked Japanther, the other MD booked saturday looks good to me, who did sweet catchy retro 6-person multi-instrumental pop. We paid the 6 of them 2300 to drive up from Michigan. We paid Japanther something like 600 to come from NYC (there's two of them).
Well I am about to get into my bad Japanther story which isn't the point.
Long story short, Saturday Looks Good to Me show up with three people and proceed to play shitty feedbacky emo-y drone, and when one of our dj's stands up between songs and asks another person to dance with her, he literally says, "This isn't music for dancing" and is a big old douche.

But he seems to have worked it out.

I have the whole album if you want it, and also some of his new city center stuff.

i like the YYY best when she sounds like cyndi lauper. 'Zero' KILLS ME DED. i was cleaning my apartment today (for a houseguest coming this week, actually. I told you, we're a total hostel!) and i was blasting it and dancing around by myself with a broom and dustpan. good times.

i don't normally clean up for houseguests but our place is seriously, seriously disgusting. my roommate's been crazy busy at work so the dishes in the sink are literally 1-2 months old and i'm scared to touch them for fear of a small mutant scurrying out and eating my face. so by cleaning i mean i swept and swiffered a little and got the mold off the shower walls. OH APARTMENT, WHY SO GROSS?

Have you ever used torrents before at all? If not, do you have a windows or mac computer? It's a little weird at first but you seem like a tech-savvy person so I'm sure you can get it.

HAHAHAH oh man when i lived with 5 boys the dishes were just... epically filthy. We had one roommate who was just.. I can't even describe how gross... One time I came downstairs and my coat was on the couch and I was went to take it and he said, "oh that's yours?" and i said: "yes, I put it down here because I'm out of hooks in my room."
KEEP IN MIND by 'down here,' i mean hanging on the coathooks, not like on the floor.
so he says, HE SAYS, "I WORE IT BECAUSE MINE WAS TOO SMELLY"

excellent. I always thought they were pretty self-explanatory, but of the 5 people I've invited, only one has been able to use the site. IT IS NOT HARD.

The only thing that's particular is that to be a member in good standing/have invites, you need to have a share ratio of 1. (if you have anyone you want to invite, though, like i said, i have like 50 invites).

Really, it's limited? That would be a relief for me, actually. I keep seeing awesome writers on my f-list posting Kirk/Spock and it's giving me anxiety about reading it all if/when I get into it as well.

Haha, I think it's only limited if you're sat at home and have nothing else to occupy you but randomly refreshing delicious.com. :/ After seeing the movie, I was definitely hit by the Kirk/Spock loving, but I'm finding it hard to find fic that really captures what I saw on screen. Last night I started foraying into Kirk/McCoy and I DUNNO. Possibly I prefer the fic of that pairing and now I am CONFLICTED. It's been a long time since I saw a film where I can ship multiple people. I do not know what's come over me.

Well, I am still locked down and still uncertain what to do about it all. I don't think the guy in question would spread my username about or anything, but just the thought that he himself might casually start BROWSING is enough to make me feel nauseous. I guess I'll probably end up changing my name but I've had this one for so long that I don't really want to. It's all a bit crappy right now.
