Wow, I love the mood of this piece combined with how he's looking away, the acuteness of the angle. And what you've done with his hair is just gorgeous.

BTW, I love sketches. Some of my favorite drawings are sketches with a very raw unfinished feel to them. Which is simply to say there are people who'd be interested in seeing it.

I always greatly appreciate the use of traditional media. While it may just be a sketch and a scanned image of it, there is still a rawness and (I daresay) soulfulness you (rather, I) do not see in digital media. And stylistically, it is very appropriate-- it's very timely.

I'd love to see more from you if that ever comes about. :)

gah, what lovely feedback!! i'm so happy you liked the sketch. unfortunately that's all i know how to draw in--coloring in photoshop takes me waaaaay too long, and illustrator looks more like graphic design than actual illustrations--but i'm glad it worked out.

i've love to draw more for fandom! i have a hard time though, i do merlin and arthur (and merlin/arthur) doodles all the time, but they usually turn out icky and not scan-worthy. i'll keep trying tho :O
