Been slowly catching up on fic, things are finally, thankfully, winding down a bit. For once, I am not hung over \o/ Doesn't mean I wasn't yesterday, but still. I am proud of me. *nodnod* Hope everyone's having a good weekend, enjoying the weather! I will be staying in and working all day, but I will not complain :D Graphics stuff is fun.

Summary: Arthur/Merlin. A visiting Lord borrows Merlin and brings him back with wound. Arthur DOES NOT LIKE.
Notes: Hurt/comfort at its best. Arthur is such a Big Damn Hero in this, and Merlin makes for a charming waif! Great pacing--deliberate and impactful. A solid read.

Force of Nature by srin (NC-17, 4k)
Summary: Arthur/Merlin. Merlin’s a magical creature who goes into heat, and subsequently has a great deal of sex with Arthur.
Notes: It's smut! \o/ Not much more to say other than it's hot, electric, and has an awesome premise XD I mean seriously, Merlin in heat? Even the summary gives me goosebumps.

Needlework by zarathuse (NC-17, 19k)
Summary: Arthur/Merlin. Merlin saves Arthur's life, but this time something goes horribly wrong. Merlin has to find a way to fix things before both he and Arthur are DED. First-time, soul-bonding. And Merlin's father makes a guest appearance.
Notes: This story's an absolute page-turner! You get your plotty action and adventure, as well as the epic romance that comes from such lofty themes as soul-bonding and long lost parents. zarathuse does a great job weaving everything together, too, so you get this tidy little package that's a joy to read!

Slightly Convoluted by aramis_chan (NC-17, 5k)
Summary: Arthur/Merlin. For the prompt: "Merlin gets put in the stocks overnight and Arthur pays him a visit, smut ensues."
Notes: The blowjob scene is particularly inspired. NOW GO.

Be Wise and Keep On by ladyflowdi (NC-17, 3k)
Summary: Arthur/Merlin. “Patience,” Arthur said, and nudged Merlin’s foot up onto his shoulder. His tongue was caught between his teeth. “It can’t be this difficult, there’s only so much room in here.”
Notes: The author takes time with the porn, so you get a really fleshed out look at Arthur and Merlin's bedtime activities <3 Though bordering on bad!romance smut, it toes the line and manages to be really, filthy hot.

Bedmate by seperis (NC-17, ~1k)
Summary: Arthur/Merlin. "I'd like to see you do this to yourself one day," Arthur says against Merlin's ear. "Watch you spread your legs and wet your fingers, slide them inside to make yourself ready for me."
Notes: Dirty talk. It's FILTHY, and HOLY SHIT, IS IT AMAZING.

We Are Floating by steammmpunk (art)
Summary: Arthur/Merlin, G. Space!AU illustration.
Notes: Holy shit, this is well done. A gorgeous drawing from a seriously, obviously talented artist.

Blood in the Water by sarcasticbabble (vid)
Summary: Uther POV, implied Arthur/Merlin. A serious take on what's essentially a genocide of sorcerers in Camelot. Done to "Don't Drink the Water" by Dave Matthews Band.
Notes: This video is scarily well-done. It presents a really unique point of view on the subject of Camelot's decree against sorcery, and the narrative is iron-strong. Uther's cruelty in this is gritty and real in comparison to the Merlin universe, where much is glossed over. The lyrics work with the footage in surprising ways, and finally, I like that the original intent of the song (about the killing of Native Americans) parallels the intent of this vid. Again, this is extremely well-done and provocative.

Summary: Bradley/Colin. Bradley and Colin have some April Fool's Day fun.
Notes: Adorable!! I love the Colin&Bradley, and I loooove the Colin/Bradley. Good use of Angel and Katie, fun characterizations, fluffy, satisfying.

Colin Morgan: theatre pics by gealach_ros (picspam)
Summary: PG. Colin Morgan shots from his various theater endeavours.
Notes: HOW MUCH DO I LOVE MR. COLIN MORGAN? A LOT. Oh, and as bait (as if you need it), lots of shirtless photos. Mmmm yes. *nods approvingly*
