Notes: Let's start this off properly...with PORN, that is. I'm reccing the second image because it's all sorts of fucked up and hot. Seriously. It's HOT.

Summary: Arthur/Merlin. Arthur doesn't sleep with servants, but why?
Notes: Total gem. The writing is very rich, very pretty. For example:
He was dizzy with Gwen's smile, the liver spots on Gaius' hands, the smell of freshly chopped wood, the way Morgana danced, the movement of the ground under his feet, his mother's healing skin.
Merlinella byxaritomene (PG, 19k)
Summary: Arthur/Merlin. A loose take on the Cinderella story, with Morgana, Gwen, and Merlin being adopted by Nimueh and Arthur as (what else?) Prince Charming.
Notes:xaritomene does a good job with "covers" of existing storylines (see: High School Musical!Merlin). Her storytelling is solid enough to do a plotline justice, and this fic is no exception. It's dashing, romantic, and a great fun story! While it won't bowl you over with exquisite writing or even great pacing (the fic starts to drag after the well-done ball scenes), but that's not why you'd put this on your reading list anyway. Fast, fun, romantic, and definitely worth a read <3

Summary: Arthur/Merlin. UNEXPLAINED NECKING SNIPPET.
Notes: This girl is fucking insane, and in the BEST WAY POSSIBLE. I don't even know what to say other than her writing is crackilicious but so, so much more than that. It packs a punch with the fewest words possible, her pacing is always impeccably quick and witty and cutting and the porn is no different--fresh, succinct, tangible.
This fic in particular? Oh god, making out never sounded so good. I was literally kind of breathless after reading this. More effective than 95% of actual porn I've read.
So Merlin Emrys, Here is Your Holiday bycrazyboutremmy (R, 3k)
Summary: Arthur/Merlin, Harry Potter crossover. Merlin is reborn as himself, but in modern-day Hogwarts (and thus still revered). Arthur's there too, and the two of them rule the school.
Notes: So much fun! I'm not usually a huge fan of crossovers, but this is simply adorable. Arthur and Merlin are the ultimate COUPLE in this, bantery and horny and totally in a league of their own (their memories of their previous lives are still intact, so they KNOW they're awesome). It's a bit cracky, definitely has that dry, humorous edge to it, but I'm reccing it for the CUTENESS.
Pavlov Penis byderryere (R, 7k)
Summary: Arthur/Merlin. Merlin's bed breaks, and the only place he can fall asleep now is in Arthur's. Not that Arthur knows. Or, as the author puts it:
In which Merlin is hot for Arthur's bed,
Arthur's hot for the laundry
and there's this big fucking heatwave
all over the place (?!)
Notes: IT'S OFFICIAL.derryere is currently my favorite author in this fandom. There's no other way to explain the sheer giddiness I get in seeing her post a new fic (and hell, while I'm reading it, too). Her writing is fucking ridiculous--I haven't seen this much genuine, laugh-out-loud wit in awhile. Closest parallel I think of in this fandom would be moonythestrals, but I can't even really draw that conclusion because moonythestrals is CRACK INCARNATE, while derryere kind of channels the stuff, instead of adopting it literally into her writing. Still, the personality is there, and in a big way. Her powerful writing falls in around it, fleshing out refreshingly simple micro-plots (instead of using plot to drive a story forward, she finds a small issue or fascination and then spends all the time necessary to explore it) into long, page-turning stories. God, I could go on and on but it would get disgustingly worshipy and I'd lose all credibility as a reviewer, so just. #1 favorite author in the fandom right now, and too many reasons to adequately cover why in here.
To differentiate this fic from her other writing, I'll have to go with tangibility. The "fascination" that pre-occupies this story is the sense of smell, and 7k (delicious) words are dedicated to exploring it. What comes out is something truly relatable, from simple things like the smell of fresh laundry or (even better) that inexplicable attraction to a particular person's scent. And how that scent drives Arthur crazy (horny). AWESOME, right?

Summary: Bradley/Colin. Why does everyone think Bradley and Colin are together? Bradley POV.
Notes: BANTERY and fast-paced and lively, the dialogue here is seriously good. I could just hear them, especially Bradley's voice. Very cute, very funny.

Summary: Bradley/Colin. Colin, Bradley and a video camera.
Notes: Hot, unabashed little smutlet. Just what the doctor ordered ;)
