Notes: Adorable and sappy to all heck, but awesome for it. Love this description: Merlin, the man in question, was sitting at his desk in a form fitting, tailored, black suit, classic naughty-secretary style glasses and, the reason for Arthur’s sudden lust-induced paralysis, stubble. Hot!

We’re The Last Of The Lookers (or Merlin uses Facebook) by

Notes: HAHAHA gotta love these tech AUs, whether it's e-mail or something trendier like facebook. This one makes me genuinely smile, it's so lovable. The best part would have to be its integration of actual facebook icons and formatting; gives it a very authentic feel :D

Three Tasks by

Summary: Arthur is the Royal Arbiter for Suitable Suitors' Disputes. He (and his trusty companion, the golden-dragon-tasselled hat) alone can determine who is fit to woo royal servants and other assorted courtiers in Uther's court. Arthur does his princely duty and arbitrates a dispute between Merlin and the four suitors after him.
Notes: The first thing you'll notice is the word count; yes, it's over 30k words long and yes, you'll feel it too, but don't get discouraged! I'll admit that I largely skimmed the first ~10k (where there isn't much Arthur/Merlin interaction), but the latter half is wonderful. Once you get into the swing of things, the humor starts to shine through (including some great, hilarious one-liners). In short, witty, satisfying, and so, so sweet.

Four Times Merlin Cock-Blocked Arthur, and One Time He Didn't by

Notes: This is lovely! It's short and sweet and well-written, and jealousy is the best plot device ever invented :D

With Words You Never Said by

Summary: Merlin falls under a spell where he is comatose for years. Arthur copes (or doesn't). Written for

Notes: This short story packs a lot of punch. It's full of romance and angsty yearning, but shhh, I promise there's a happy ending.

A Year and a Day by

Summary: Pre-series, Arthur goes into a fairy hill. There he lives one year and a day in the fairy world--the time alotted before he is trapped there forever--where he meets a half-mortal by the name of Merlin.
Notes: Oh gosh, I don't know where to start. This story is breathtaking and epic. There's such a dreamlike quality to it that makes the romance positively transcendental. Arthur's characterization at age 16 was spot on, and I adore this version of Merlin. One of my favorite lines: "Merlin’s chin came up. 'I don’t do magic. I am magic.'"

Summary: Fanvid done to "You're So Damn Hot" by "OK Go", as well as a cameo by "Moon River" of Audrey Hepburn fame.
Notes: HOLY SHIT, this is one of the best vids I've EVER SEEN. (Doesn't hurt that I adore this song.) It's absolutely hilarious, with clever use of lyrics and footage and GREAT comedic timing. I dare you to watch this without a goofy grin on your face the whole way through.
