happy birthday to halfshellvenus!! i can't say i've been posting much lately, but you are a dear friend and i can't omit at least a little bit of well-wishing :)

for any and all interested, i've been hanging out in the bay area, in vegas (pictures here), and now in taiwan. one more return trip to the bay and then i'll be back in new york come november! whew!

as far as fandom goes, i've been keeping up with the f-list, just haven't had anything inspiring to add recently D: i've taken a long enough hiatus though, starting to feel like writing again. have been obsessed with dean/castiel, and reading anything i can get my hands on. finally finished up this year's big bang fics and will soon post a lengthy review/rec list.

I'm in the process of coding this MASSIVE bigbang08 review list, posting tomorrow, so that at least in some roundabout fashion I'll be pitching in in fandom again. It's like a warm-up for ficcing, I hope XD
