There's an article I'm DYING TO READ, but it's only at the San Francisco Public Library on microform. It'd be about this, and I'm certain there's a contemporaneous review or report on it in the S.F. Chronicle from like, the day after it happened, and I just. *gimme hands*

...anybody in the area feel like making a jaunt down to the musty archives of a library? Yeeeahh, I didn't think so. Theoretically, I could pay ~$30 for a scan, but that's a lot of money for a two-sentence blurb in a fic D:

Edit: [livejournal.com profile] coolgrin is a smarty-pants and I am an idiot. YAY.

Wait...how did I totally not look it up >.> Last time I was there they were so sparse on West Coast rare books, I kinda just assumed they wouldn't have entire collections of the San Francisco Chronicle but--I THINK THEY DO. *is giddy* Thank you so much for the suggestion!!

Luckily I'm within distance to the actual NYPL, so if I have the time I'll make a trip over and troll through the microforms :D Thanks again!!
