RAAAAIN!!!!!
May. 9th, 2008 07:58 pmI'm ridiculously excited about the bigbang reveal. Skimmed the summaries, let the excitement wash over me~ ahhh. Seriously though, it's been like a drought these past few months and I'm just hoping its b/c everyone's holed up with their laptops, churning out AMAZING FIC.
Also?
leyna55 claimed my summary. I HIT THE JACKPOT. I mean, LOOK AT THIS, IT'S FREAKING UNREAL.
If you've been around this journal for more than like, two days, I'm sure y'all know what I'm writing already, but here's my summary anyway:
"One windy day, Samuel Winchester, accomplished lawyer and well-to-do man of Society, inherits an unlikely article after the inexplicable death of a stranger. With it, he falls into an intricate web surrounding his mother's age-old murder, and all the while, a mysterious man with sharp green eyes (and a sharper blade, yet) dogs him, trailing crumbs of information that do little to satisfy young Mr. Winchester. Debutantes, horse-buggys, and good old-fashioned balls appear alongside demons, ruffians, and the darker underbelly of turn-of-the-century San Francisco."
Did I mention that I HIT THE JACKPOT? Can you even imagine what sort of historically accurate yumminess she's gonna come up with??
*rolls around in glee*
So, I just spent the last five hours porning at a couple cafes. I have desecrated the local Starbucks with literary cumshots and incest. It was GREAT. I usually have such a hard time porning, but today Sam and Dean just went at it, those horndogs! Hurrah for public indecency (of sorts)! It never ceases to amaze me how huge a difference getting out of the house makes. When I'm sitting at home trying to write, I'll get like...500 words out over the course of several hours. If I'm lucky. When I go out though, it's usually at least 1-2k. Wonder why that is? Oh well, I'm not complaining. If I have to pay a few bucks for coffee and mojo, SO BE IT.

Date: 2008-05-10 04:18 pm (UTC)I'm still very behind with the internets, but I"m looking forward to your big bang a lot - I know how much research you put into it, and your other AUs have been so awesome.
Also, I want to read it again a few times, but I was very impressed with "Hello, Operator".
*hugs you*
