I'm completely convinced I won't be able to finish my big bang =_= It's taken me six grueling months to get this far, and I'm only about halfway done. I can't cram the rest in just two, three weeks of work!!

Ugghhhh this story is proving as difficult to write as I'd feared. Once this is over and done with, it'll be a V. LONG TIME before I undertake another project of this magnitude again.

BLAH. Enough of me complaining. How's every one else's coming along? Am I the only one about to miss deadline, here?

Heh, had I actually signed up as a writer I would most definitely be about to miss deadline. Deadlines overlapping with horrible scary impending finals time? Bad news.

But hey, you could totally have a last minute attack of efficiency -- one never knows until the deadline, right? Right? *waggles eyebrows enticingly* *scampers off to stop the pestering*

Pshaw, I don't think anyone in this room views a lack of success big bang success in any given year as equating to HORRIBLE PERSON STATUS. Life happens. LJ is awesome, and is full of wonderful people, but the simple fact remains that real life gets to trump. No shame in that.

I'm signed up for art this round (was only just discovering the fandom last round actually), and I desperately hope to contribute entertaining things. Should be post-finals time, hence the hope. *nod*

Keep writing, yo! You can always bow out at the very last minute -- why admit defeat any sooner than you have to?

No-no-no, don't think of it as hopeless! Think of it as mass output towards a goal that may or may not have anything to do with big bang! You'll still have a long marvelous story to finish and share, and if you don't make the deadline you'll still be that much closer to it.

Heh, yup, I'm a baby -- just turned 24 (so not as young as the initial "finals" implication probably makes me sound *grin*). I'm actually a second year law student right now, which means that all my time on-line is either (a) during class or (b) in place of sleep. I hope, someday, to have a life again. And to remember what one does with a life when that happens. I honestly think I'd have gone insane by now if it weren't for fandom.

I actually take a lot of relief from the fact that my young'un status always seems to surprise people. I'm definitely (1) young and (2) naive about a lot of things, but I try REALLY HARD not to come across that way.
