SPN 3.05 Bedtime Stories
Nov. 2nd, 2007 11:04 pmBut am I the only one who couldn't stand Sandy's acting? I totally don't have anything against her and I'd never seen her in anything else before, but her whole scene with Sam was really cringeworthy to me. And they put SO much makeup on her (blue eyeshadow up to the eyebrows? Really?) *shrugs*
In despite of that blurb, I LOVED this episode. It was just... perfect, really. A good old-fashioned case episode, a creative premise, the boys working together, and dashes of humor (SAM'S DOODLE OMG I kept wondering if they just handed Jared a notepad and made him draw, b/c that would be SO. CUTE.) for good measure--all I really need for SPN to kick my ass and make me smile.
On a real life note, I had the worst interview of my life today at Lord & Taylor. Maybe it would've helped to uh, maybe KNOW that I was walking into an interview? Tell me these things, people!! It was a disaster, seriously. =_= I'm just glad I have my part-time right now. My first design project--I get to pitch the uniforms for Clarins employees (the ones they wear behind the counter at Macy's or wtv), whee~

Date: 2007-11-03 05:26 am (UTC)However, I do think that the epi was good overall. Like you, I enjoyed the return to casework. I liked the premise, even if it was super obvious. And I was very happy to see more brotherness. I'm not sure about it, though... I feel like they're going to have to start doing something more with it or, rather, develop it in some way; it's starting to get a bit repetitious. However, I'd take repetitious brotherness over stupid peripheral plot lines any day.
And as was said above, if only Dean had taken a bite of that apple... *cries for loss of opportunity*
Sorry about the surprise interview. :(
