Writer's Meme: Sometimes it's ok to pimp yourself out. Post a list of your top five fics favorite you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same.

You'd think one of my epics (Breathe Love at 18 chapters or WIP Sky in a Box) would be on here, but nope. They're long and leave too many holes for me to pick apart :P The shorter stuff's easier to love.

1. The Seven Deadly Sins (Prison Break, 539 words) - I had so much fun with the structure of the seven sins, and really just threw everything into sensory details. I like how dark and twisted Michael turned out, too.

2. Conversations to No One (SPN, ~1500 words) - I adore writing in stream-of-consciousness. This fic is pretentious and flawed, but it was an exercise in narrative that I think really works when it works. I want people to ache when they read it, and I think some parts succeed in doing that. I wish I could write like this again :P I've tried doing a sequel, but the rhythm just isn't coming.

3. Breathe Love Chapter 18: Heartbeats (Prison Break, 1,252 words) - I'm a little bummed this got buried into my epic, since the last chapter is completely standalone. It's a series of drabbles like "Conversations to No One" and I do play with poetic devices, particularly at the end. This is my self-contained story of non-AU, Michael/Lincoln. I like how climactic it feels.

4. Honey (SPN, ~11,500 words) - My take on Sex Pollen, lol. I think the writing's solid in this, and I like how complete this feels. Kind of a classic Sam-and-Dean-get-together plot, replete with porn, angst, and schmoop. Shallow and self-serving, it is what it is and doesn't try to be any more than that :D

5. Sunday, 2AM (SPN, 4,567 words) - Completely an exercise in narrative. The story works backwards and I tried to make each part a little mystery as to how the reader got to where he/she is. I have a lot of fun with experimentation and this is no exception :3

Okay! I tag everybody who reads this :P
