been a little m.i.a. lately. first, work was kicking my ass, and then there was all this boy drama last week, then a deadline this weekend but here i am! whew.

exciting news :D i'll be making a euro trip in may!!! i am such a townie, i've only ever been to paris once in my life, and that was when i was 9 years old so totally doesn't count. so i'm sort of losing my shit over this upcoming trip.

it'll be one week: a few days in paris (to visit betsyli <3), a stop in geneva, a couple nights in barcelona, and one lazy day in lisbon before heading back. i'm dying to pick up on hot european men, but i'll be tripping with my good friend who's a dude, so i'll probably get cockblocked the whole time :P betsyli, i'm counting on you to get our kicks in in paris while he's not there!!

otherwise when i vacation, i generally focus on the following: a) architecture b) bars/dancing and c) cafes to relax at. so. any locals have recommendations?

well, betsyli is in paris :/ plus, i kind of want to see it more than london >_> NOT THAT THERE ISNT ANY LOVE, BECAUSE I AM DYING TO SEE LONDON TOO. i just feel like it might be more similar to new york than paris would be, and i'm taking a vaca to get AWAY from home, haha.

You've got to go to Pere Lachaise and the Catacombs in Paris. I adored them both. Although the catacombs might not be so great if you're in any way claustrophobic (you'll be underground with bones for a good hour or two!)

no england because i dumb like that :/ plane ticket is half the cost of my current plan ($600 vs $1200), but i want to visit betsyli and don't have time for a stop in england. next time!!

I know its so cliche, but you can not possibly visit Paris and not go to Moulin Rouge! I would love to hear your opinion. Have the best time and take a lot of picks!
