weekends should not be this exhausting
Sep. 19th, 2010 05:53 pmwent bar-hopping on friday. we hit up SEVEN PLACES. THAT IS SIX PLACES TOO MANY. dropped mad cash, did some sloppy dancing, got home at 4am.
went out last night, hoping for a calmer night in the neighborhood. all was going according to plan until we moved from a small club to a loft party (i hesitate to use the word "party". more like a gathering of friends spinning techno in an empty loft in industrial bushwick) and i wound up on the rooftop making out with a dude until dawn. got home at 6am.
i was all set for a lazy, cave-like sunday. only ventured out for sliced bread to make toast, but i walked past a neighbor repairing his moped. we chatted, then took a walk and got coffee. totally lovely, except it got awkward when we parted because he asked to hang out again and i was like "ummm, erm okay?" but i don't actually want to see him outside a neighborly context. unfortunately, he knows where i live. and on which floor. and is two doors down. *sigh*
I'M TIRED. IMMA MAKE A SANDWICH AND WATCH MERLIN 3.02 AND CALL IT A DAY.
