Oh my God, I am so sick of writing western!AU. Why won't it end?? It's already over 50k words. What the bloody fuck? I still have more scenes to write. Poo on a bun.

Just got back from an office-provided overnight in the Hamptons. That was amazing. I caved in to peer pressure and bought a $60 t-shirt during the trip. Seriously, it's just a stupid t-shirt. And then work today was fucking brutal. Everyone was pissed at each other. Probably because we'd just spent the previous 48 nonstop hrs in each other's faces.

I know, I'm annoying myself as we speak. Whine whine whine! Oh my life sucks so bad, I'm tired of creative writing and the trip to the Hamptons is making my Thursday very difficult!

Everyone please tell me your mundane grievances now so I don't feel so petty.

Oh bother, I have to go all the way to the Netherlands (40kms away) so my mom can pay for shoes that will actually fit me. Whine whine.

I have a $250 fine because I got a speeding ticket the day I left for London and then I lost it and didn't know when it was due or what county I got it in :(

And then I got rear-ended by a dude with no license or insurance :| Luckily the damage was minimal but my boyfriend flipped out at me and ruined my beach-going adventures.

He apologized for it later though, he was just really scared for me.

Noooo, I don't live in Paris. I wish I lived in Paris, that would be lovely. I'm from Atlanta, Georgia originally. I did visit Paris for a day though, that was nice.

But yes, I just keep having car things happen to me and I was so stressed out about the ticket and worrying if I had my license suspended, ugh it was nuts. I was a wreck. But I'm okay now, even though I'm out a couple hundred dollars.

bc no one would want to come then? It was technically a work shopping trip (like when you go and buy samples for inspiration aka ripping off) but it was just a thinly veiled excuse for a vaca. Nobody really bought anything for work.

i'm glad you approve of the shirt >_< even if it does just look like trashy hipster-wear. When i bought it i was like "i just need to wear this in williamsburg with cut-offs and Toms" and my coworker was like "Wait, you don't own Toms?"

I think I should give up on my useless struggle against being a walking cliche. I already have the hair, ethnicity, job description, and location--why not go whole hog?
