It's official, kiddos. Unless someone wants to pick up where I left off, the Round-Up is officially R.I.P. :/ Sorry. Life got in the way.

Besides, Generation Kill has sort of eaten my brains. I'll still read the occasional Arthur/Merlin, but hiatus has kicked my butt and my interest has wa-a-andered in the direction of hot, sweaty Marines with hot-ass back tattoos and shirtless scenes.

It was a good run! I had so much fun doing the Round-Up, so thanks everyone for the erstwhile support and it was lovely meeting so many new people because of it :D

On the flip side, I know a lot of f-listers were just here for the recs so now, I give you...drumroll...DE-FRIENDING AMNESTY \o/. ONLY FOR A FEW DAYS THOUGH! Then it's personal. *menacing glare*

Aww, sad to see the Round-Up dying. But, it happens :) Also Generation Kill is a perfectly acceptable reason to get distracted ;D I know I did! That series was chock-full of meaningful looks, it's ridiculously.

I knoww I feel so bad about ditching the Round-Up, but I fell way behind and was tired of feeling guilty about it T__T It's kind of relieving to just be like "R.I.P., SORRY".

In a perfect world someone will dash in and take over, using the same formula I used of clicking on EVERY SINGLE FIC and skimming. That's how I found all the random little gems :D But alas...tiiiiime consuming.

The selfish part of me is going --> D: because I loved your round-ups. I could be all slothful and wait for someone else to do the messy work of trawling through the sludge to find the awesome. Me? I’m just too lazy – like to keep my hands clean, if you feel me? :P

The less selfish part of me totally understands. Things change. Interest move on. I’ve been reading like 80-something % less Merlin fic these days. I still love the boys but I’m getting a bit… bored? I need different canon characters to ship five ways to Sunday. I’ve been discovering my not so secret geek streak and have landed head first in the Star Trek fandom. WHY HULO THAR SPORK FIC! It’s all good stuff. (Except for the bit where I want to write K/S because that would not be pretty at all as I suck balls when it comes to sci-fi themes. *put-upon sigh*)

Thank you for letting us know you're alive! I was starting to get a little worried, though more for the 'are they okay?' than the 'need fanfic recs now' thing. To be honest, I only read Merlin!fic when Merlin's on telly and my appetite isn't quite quenched.

Probably because I seem to be working in my own personal Arthurian canon at the moment. Thank you, Spoken Word lectures.
