Merlin recs

First Snow by lisztful (PG-12, 4k)
Summary: Arthur/Merlin, fluff. The great, loosely packed snowball hits Arthur straight on, collapsing against the strong line of his tense...Nobody breathes, Merlin included.
Notes: Snowball fight in Camelot! Asides from the adorable mayhem, the story is at heart soft and romantic, reading like a lazy winter day spent indoors--unrushed, simple, happy.

Days of old and days to be on camelotsolstice (18k, R)
Summary: Arthur/Merlin, AU, reincarnation!fic. Regency AU in which Arthur is the darling of the ton, Merlin is still a terrible valet, Mordred is a radical rabble-rouser, and Gwen's in love with a Light Dragoon.
Notes: I love period AUs *__* Everything's historically accurate in here so nothing jarrs, the characters are so much FUN (Mordred especially, who gets a unique twist), and Merlin is an absolute darling as The One Who Remembers in any reincarnation plot. This fic's got great personality and showmanship :D

'Til You Scream by i_claudia (NC-17, 1k)
Summary: Arthur/Merlin, PWP. Some dirty talk.
Notes: Summary should suffice. And damn, is i_claudia good at porning!

something more than this desperation on camelotsolstice (PG-13, 13k)
Summary: Arthur/Merlin, business!AU. Arthur's adventures through (a) internet dating and (b) love. Merlin owns an online dating site and Arthur is a non-believer.
Notes: This is exactly as cute and fun as it sounds. It's a lovely addition to the world of Merlin modern AUs. The boys are so sweet in this :D

The Past, the Future and the Now on camelotsolstice (R, 8k)
Summary: Arthur/Merlin, modern!AU, reincarnation!fic, epic.
Notes: There's a lot of time-jumping in this so the structure should be complicated, but somehow--without any jarring headlines, italics, or chapter breaks--the story reads seamlessly, following Merlin as he ebbs in and out of Camelot and modern day England. Keep an eye out for the ending, as it's especially sweet and epic *__*

Through the Dark on camelotsolstice (G, 2k)
Summary: Merlin/Morgana undertones, coda for 2x03. After Morgana returns from the druids, Merlin decides to reveal his secret.
Notes: There's so little Merlin/Morgana out there so I will pounce on anything good! And luckily, this is very good :D The both of them explore their magic in new ways and it feels like an extension of the show, just with the alternate reality we all (well, I) actually want to see.


RPS recs

Bradley/Colin Thanksgiving RPS, OMG by lisztful (NC-17, 3k)
Summary: Bradley/Colin. Bradley throws a Thanksgiving dinner (despite no Americans attending). Of course, he has ulterior motives.
Notes: This is a sweet one-off and I love the idea of Bradley trying to seduce Colin via food :D

The warmth in your eyes swept me into your arms by slowdead (PG-13, 2k)
Summary: Bradley/Colin, highschool!AU. Bradley doesn’t really know a lot about Colin Morgan.
Notes: I like that the fluff grows steadily throughout the story, instead of being 100% sap all the way through. High school AUs are always fun, too :)

Karaoke, Sport of Kings by lamardeuse (NC-17, 17k)
Summary: Bradley/Colin, angsty!Bradley. Bradley takes a little while to get it. As usual. Bradley shows up unannounced at Colin's during the holidays.
Notes: Fabulous story. I love all the scenes with Colin's family, especially his mother--they're so adorable. As is Bradley! I love him all angsty and turned around over Colin <3
